Just tried my first can for lunch and ditto to what the last review said. Lots of fat and some slimy stuff that I'm not sire what it was. Definitely not the high end beef I was expecting but then again the price is pretty low too.

I used to buy Kirkland brand tinned brisket at Costco. It was great to use for a quick meal; very lean, tasty, and not too expensive. When Kirkland discontinued it, I wanted to find a substitute and stumbled across this. Soon as I got it, I tried it...and wished I hadn't bought it. The mean had more fat on it than it should have, and I even found a bit of bone in the can. I figured it might be a fluke, and was just that one can. Not so. The second can was the same, once again including a little chip of bone. I dumped the rest and haven't bought anything from them since. Maybe I had bad luck, but if you buy this, be sure to put it in a colander and REALLY rinse it and sift it.
